How to Succeed in Evil is not a self-help page for the maladjusted. It it is the story of Edwin Windsor, Evil Efficiency Consultant. He's like Arthur Andersen for Supervillains.

What's not to like? The artist totally captures the environment that Patrick E. McLean has created inside my head. Every version of Edwin's story is better than the last. The length of the chapters of HtSiE:tN that are currently being released (chapter 29 came out yesterday, 04/28/09) are perfect. You always hope it would continue and never hope it would end. Mr. McLean can open a chapter writing pure poetry and close it by delivering through your ear-buds a one-liner from Topper that'll cause you to get a few looks even from your fellow 'I've seen everything, nothing can phase me' morning commuters on the number 6 train. (FYI: That's the train line hijacked in 'The Taking of Pelham 123'). So, what I need to tell you (although it's preaching to the choir if your on this page) is read/listen/download everything with the name Patrick E. McLean attached to it. Enter a world where super-heroes soul search, evil villains shrink from their mothers and dittle the farm animals while planing world domination from an Alabamian Tara and where having a zombie as the local mini-mart cashier or driving a taxi is as common as broken bus-stop shelter glass along 10th Ave. Did I mention Mr. McLean also does the reading like a professional voice-actor and of course he has more voices than Mel Blanc, of course. Let's just say I'm jealous of Patrick E. McLean.

Brilliant! Such a good idea, an efficiency expert for evil villains. So much you could do with this. Great dialogue too. Good stuff. Nice art.

Read it, re-read it, shared it with my wife, got her started on all the works of Edwin to date.

Thank you very much and let us know when it's ready to order.

Perhaps I missed something, but shouldn't there be word balloons? Or do you have to pay for the comic to get those in the printed version (when it comes out)?

Looks amazing, by the way. The artist did an amazing job.
