I love the other side of the isle concept and the writing is great. As far as the book is going, I'm defantly enjoying it; it's great to see bits of the old episode woven into the story, I hope that episodes dont foretell the story, but that wouldn't matter much because its really the story telling and the character(s) that matter and attach me to the tale (I guess that's why Edwin 2.0 was so painful). I guess sometime the text seems gimmicky (fish stands), but then I trade that willingly for lines like "floresca and fauna" and "smoke math".
