How to Succeed in Evil is not a self-help page for the maladjusted. It it is the story of Edwin Windsor, Evil Efficiency Consultant. He's like Arthur Anderson for Supervillians.
I know you always value a real fan’s constructive criticism. I enjoyed this chapter, and will start with props. As always, your description of even the most mundane items reaches into the the mind and makes the most common object special. However the flow seem to break on the *second* mention of the pager being, “he never consciously considered that is was the wrong end of the leash” This was the second mention of the pager using the exact same phrase. When I was listening for the first time, I looked back at the screen wondering if I had accidentally clicked back in the chapter.
As always, Thank you for a wonderful podcast that brings the story of the “Bad guy” back to reality and shows the fun in Edwin’s life. It can be both Good and Evil, and always gives the listener a small glimpse of the window that they might find one day that can lead them to also Succeed in Evil. Even if its in their own imaginations and stories.
