How to Succeed in Evil is not a self-help page for the maladjusted. It it is the story of Edwin Windsor, Evil Efficiency Consultant. He's like Arthur Anderson for Supervillians.
Yeah Tony, kind of. They disdain conventional morality, yes. But they are too illogical and internally inconsistent.
Edwin is more of a stoic. Not deceived by appearance. A lot of these rules are organizational in nature. The kind of things that help you play office politics well. Edwin doesn’t play office politics. He plays for keeps.
But I did take those into consideration in the story.
I’ll give you an insight into one of Edwin’s laws. Seduce people by telling them the truth they are afraid to tell themselves.
More interesting story with Excelsior, how will his and Edwin’s paths cross? He wasn’t in the original and I’m looking forward to finding out.
Kudos Mr McLean
This looks like something Edwin could’ve written: http://www2.tech.purdue.edu/cg/Courses/cgt411/covey/48_laws_of_power.htm

The Director sounds a bit like a James Taggart, except replace weak and need with systems management and operating procedure.
That is a fun thought, thank you Patrick the Austrian :p
