How to Succeed in Evil is not a self-help page for the maladjusted. It it is the story of Edwin Windsor, Evil Efficiency Consultant. He's like Arthur Andersen for Supervillains.
Either Edwin is in trouble or he anticipated this and planned for it. Either way, having a superhero for an arch-enemy officially qualifies him for supervillainhood (that probably isn’t a word).
In actuality, Edwin is an Anti-villain… an individual whose bad actions have a positive benefit. Edwin has taken Dr. Lobe and his Mother and effectively neutralized them by providing them limited mobility and sanity… Ephagina a nice padded room, Dr. Lobe a nice fantasy world to live in that just requires actors and special effects. Positive benefit.
Barry aka Cromogladon he is using as a mobile billboard, just point to an open area such as Montana and with that nice empathic silver haired beauty Barry is calm.
Seeing how he is going to deal with Excelsior or rather his keeper Gus might be interesting to see how this plays out. All Edwin needs to do is find Gus or those who controls us budget and pull some strings.
Excelsior… quite malleable… he has so simple dreams and goals… Be left alone and have a life. Without Gus… And that is his weakness.
