Sure, but rewatch Ch 42. Is this the choice we are given? Cold, emotionless (except annoyance) logic vs. absolute irrationality. Moreover, is it so irrational to choose irrationality?

I felt a bit sorry about Excelsior before this. What the fuck is that dudes problem? I know he’s not real, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting to kick his ass!

Bonus total nerd question: Do you think Frank Miller’s Bruce Wayne and Edwin would get along? I think there’s a good chance.

I wholly agree. Interestingly enough, given his level of character development, if he survives this book (I seem to remember mention of there being three books in this series), chances seem good that he’ll actually be the “villain”.

Edwin seems to be getting closer and closer to the breaking point. I must say, I like actually seeing him go from “irritated” to “anti-villain”, rather than just seeing the last step. And one has to marvel at his patience. If the next chapter isn’t him seriously thinking through the situation and taking another step towards villainy, I’ll be surprised.

Anyway, fantastic job, our dear author. I eagerly await the next chapter.
