How to Succeed in Evil is not a self-help page for the maladjusted. It it is the story of Edwin Windsor, Evil Efficiency Consultant. He's like Arthur Anderson for Supervillians.
A nice examination of Edwin’s character, and it’s always nice to see Topper and Agnes play off each other. And I’m starting to see even more of a villainous streak in Edwin’s thoughts. “Am I the only one who can see that something’s wrong with the world?” Pretty much the motivation of every semi-benevolent villain ever.
Also…they’re actually going to try to sue Excelsior? Okay, I would try to predict the future, but it’d probably be dead wrong, so I’ll just wait for it, eh?
Anyway, good episode. I eagerly await the next chapter of my current favorite story.
I was waiting to see when the sneak peek at the book we got back in April of ‘08 would show up. I’m sort of wondering what happened between then and now.
That’s a fine question. I think that’s going to be in Book II. Cruel of me not to mention it earlier. But it was an honest mistake. About half of my first draft was the second book.
