How to Succeed in Evil is not a self-help page for the maladjusted. It it is the story of Edwin Windsor, Evil Efficiency Consultant. He's like Arthur Andersen for Supervillains.

Munich was televised so I assumed that it was something other than that. Plus Gus had a hold on him since childhood(?) so I thought it would be something earlier. *shrug* Maybe not.

No, Gus's hold is explained earlier- I thought- I will go back and check- wasn't it Munich?

Gus is Excelsior as Agnus is to Edwin, not in a boss sort of way, but in their ways of old sort of way, as I posted earlier...

I know funerals can seem all the same sometimes, but I would have liked to heard Edwin's Eulogy. Agnes deserved that much- and her dying plea to Do Good needs to ring into Edwin louder and louder. It needs to birth the soul he is desperately searching for within himself. Edwin needs another player- an old friend not yet in the story, to help him work it out. Topper is not equipped for this- though he can be sympathetic.

Excelsior is dead- he has to be- he had so much to prove. And the cromogledon destroying buildings in the distance proved that not only had excelsior failed- but that he died trying- or he would have given chase.

Patrick, thanks for the Turkey- 3 strikes in bowling- 3 evils in one day...

I saw the title of chapter 68 (no no no) and knew what was coming. As much as I hated to see her die again, I think this version worked better than the original.

I doubt that Excelsior is dead. That seems too anti-climatic for him and we still don't know what hold Gus had over him.
